Off-Grid

What does Off-Grid mean?

In it’s simplest form, it means not using or depending on public utilities to supply your electricity, water and waste. However, there is more to it then meets the eye! An Off-Grid solution gives you the possibility to take ownership and control of your own energy.

Why should I go Off-Grid?

You would usually look at this option if you live in a remote location where it is not feasible, to have access to public connections. In some cases you may find an Off-Grid installation cheaper then paying costly fees to the National Grid or local water board. You may struggle for permission from land owners to allow access for installation of power cables and water mains to your location. All in all, you may be looking at six figure sums just to have a right to public utilities.
